Term 3 Reflection
Term 3 at Tamaki Intermediate was awesome. We started the term with tedious testing. I sure was not looking forward to that.
The Junior Warriors came to visit us in week five. I was kind of surprised that there was even another Warriors team. We got to spend some time outside on the field with them. They taught us some Rugby League skills.
Shortly after that we had our own Olympics coming up. Class rooms chose to support countries of their choice and represent them. These groups would be competing for Gold, Bronze and Silver medals at our own school Olympics.
This term, every interval and lunch time Mr Utunga trained the boys and girls for Rugby, Rugby League, Basketball and Badminton to make sure we made it to the finals.
For a long period of time we had been raising money for the awesome trip to Windy Wellington. Each class room came up with their own idea of making money. We also held a Garage Sale, Car Wash and Sausage sizzle. Once we raised enough money, we took off on a plane and said good bye to Auckland and hello to Wellington from the 10th of September to the 14th of September.
The Wiggles came to visit our school. But they weren’t alone they also brought along with them their new trainees because the original wiggles were retiring and I think the show they performed to us was their last, so I guess we were lucky.
Term 3 was really a fun term and I am looking forward to Term 4.
