My moment of success

Everyone's screaming, yelling and chanting for their country's team to win all their races. I knew that I would be next for the tennis and spoon race and that everyone would be relying on me to win a gold medal for New Zealand.

As I walk up to the starting line I could hear people roaring louder than dinosaurs and that there was a lot of pressure on me so I definitely had to win this race. ON YOUR MARKS GET SET GO!!!! and off we were I was sliding my shoes across the ground to make sure that the ball was steady and that it wouldn't drop.

I was just inches away from crossing the finish line until I dropped the ball and had to go back. I didn't come first that was  okay because I had another chance to redo the race so I could go for silver or bronze.

I had a sick feeling that I was going to lose and not get any medal at all but in the end I won bronze even though it wasn't real bronze it was just plastic I was very happy and proud of myself.

Over all the winners were America in first place New Zealand in second and Jamaica in third. Everyone had lots of fun and enjoyed themselves.
